Organize, cancel and archive sessions

Find work and distinguish stopping execution from hiding completed sessions.

Use the session list to find work by title and context. Switch between Sessions by Me and Sessions by Team when you want your work or the shared workspace view. Search and status filters help narrow a busy list.

Give sessions specific names, such as “Fix search reset in dashboard.” Rename a session from its title action when the original name no longer describes the work. Use folders and the sorting controls where offered to group related sessions.

Keep implementation follow-ups in the original session. Start a separate session for an independent goal. A top-level session can delegate child work; follow child links from the parent when they are not shown in the main session list.

Cancel active work

Use Cancel when the current execution should stop. Wait for the resulting state and inspect the conversation. Changes and external actions completed before cancellation remain part of the work; cancellation is not an undo operation.

If you intend only to change direction, send guidance instead. Avoid cancelling and immediately recreating the same task without checking whether there is work to preserve.

Archive and restore

Archive a session when it should leave the ordinary work list. Archiving organizes history; it is a separate action from cancelling execution.

Open Settings → Archived sessions to search archived work and follow its session link. Use Restore when your role permits it. Restored sessions return to the ordinary list. If restore fails, keep the archived record and retry the action shown by the app.

For stalled execution use session recovery; for team visibility and permissions see workspaces.
