Sessions

Use desktop and mobile previews

Inspect the sandbox desktop and device views when the session supports them.

The app preview, sandbox desktop, and Android device view are different surfaces. A registered web preview opens a running web app. Desktop access shows the sandbox's desktop. Android access is available only for sessions with the required device environment.

Use the available view

Open the session inspector and look for the preview or device controls offered by that session. Choose Desktop to inspect the remote desktop when available. Choose the Android view only when a device is attached and ready.

If a tab is absent, check the session's provider and environment configuration. A web preview does not imply Android support, and a mobile browser layout is not an Android emulator.

Check the dimensions

For web layout issues, compare the browser's viewport inside the environment with the viewport of the embedded app preview. Desktop dimensions, browser dimensions, screenshot pixels, and preview zoom are separate measurements.

State the target when asking for a check:

Check the checkout form in a 390-pixel browser viewport.
Capture the final state and report any horizontal overflow.

For Android work, describe the device action and expected screen state. Include reproduction steps and an output capture when useful. Review any device or provider prerequisites shown in the app before starting.

Resolve missing or stale views

Wait for the environment to be ready, then retry the available view. Wake a sleeping machine before expecting it to respond. If a web app stays blank after wake, ask the agent to verify its process and port.
